Inquiry into recognition for members and families of members of the ADF injured, wounded or killed in or as a result of service
The Defence Honours and Awards Appeals Tribunal has been directed to inquire into and report on recognition for members and families of members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) who are injured, wounded or killed in or as a result of service.
In particular, the Tribunal is to seek and receive submissions and consider whether it is appropriate that members of the ADF who are injured, wounded or killed in or as a result of service, or their families, receive an Australian honour or award, or another form of recognition for that service.
Interested persons and organisations are invited to make a submission to the Tribunal, in accordance with the inquiry terms of reference.
The inquiry terms of reference and further information on how to make a submission can be obtained by contacting the Tribunal, via:
- Telephone: 02 6266 1019
- Email: DHA.Tribunal [at] defence.gov.au or
