Personnel from No. 10 Squadron operating the AP-3C Orion (EW) based at RAAF Base Edinburgh in South Australia have maintained a culture of excellence with a number of significant achievements acknowledged in Air Force’s centenary year.
Air Force’s No. 24 Squadron exercised its right to Freedom of Entry to Adelaide on May 7 to mark the 70th anniversary of the city giving the squadron permission to carry its name.
In recognition of the Orion’s distinguished service in the RAAF over more than 50 years, a decommissioned aircraft now takes pride of place at the RAAF Base Edinburgh front gate.
