Defence was proud to support the Warbirds over Scone Air Show from March 26 to 27 in the Upper Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, which aligned with the opening of the new Hunter Warbirds Aviation Centre at Scone Airport. 

Air Force Centenary Memorial dedication

The Royal Australian Air Force Centenary program has concluded with a commemorative dedication of a new memorial at RAAF Base Point Cook, Victoria, accompanied by a spectacular aerial display from the Roulettes.

Air Force logisticians, past and present, were honoured with a plaque at the Air Force Memorial in the Chief of Air Force Memorial Gardens, RAAF Base Point Cook, late last year.

Making a spectacular return

Australian Army soldiers from the historic Williamstown-based 2nd Commando Company, 1st Commando Regiment, made a spectacular return to parachute training in Victoria by jumping into fields near Avalon Airport.
